Science Night at Meridian

Science Night

Meridian hosted a Science Night on Monday, April 7th. Meridian Partners in Education (MPIE) sponsored the event held in the Competition gym at Meridian. Featured guest presenters included: Edgerton Explorit Center, Homestead National Historical Monument, Sphero Activities (coding with Mr. Becker and his class), the Starlab provided by the Educational Service Unit (ESU #5), Norris Public Power, and the Jefferson County Extension Office. Meridian students, parents, staff, and patrons spent the evening exploring the hands on activities followed by a show presented by the Edgerton entitled "The Go Show". The show featured demonstrations centered around Newton's laws of motion.
