Reinke Is Spearheading a Summer Welding Program

Reinke Manufacturing Co., Inc. is offering an exciting opportunity for high school students this summer.
Two welding classes are taught to high school students at Deshler Public School during the school year. During the past two summers this same class was taught to numerous students from several schools in the area. The class is taught in a shorter session but longer class periods in the summer. The curriculum is built around American Welding Society standards. We had more students who wanted to take the class than what could be accommodated so we have doubled the amount of students we can accept. Students will need to take either the Monday/Wednesday class or the Tuesday/Thursday class.
Here are the details:
•Participants must be 16 years of age no later than June 5, 2025
•First day of class for the M/W class will be June 4. That last day of class will be July 16. There will not be any classes held the week of July 4.
•First day of class for the T/TH class will be June 5. The last day of class will be July 17. There will not be any classes held the week of July 4.
•Classes will be held twice a week from 8-12 in the morning at the Deshler Public Schools Industrial Arts facility.•All materials will be provided such as helmets, safety glasses, weld jackets and material.
•This will be both a hands on class as well as a theoretical class.
•There is no cost to participate.•The student will receive a $500 stipend should they successfully pass the class.
•Students will be responsible for getting themselves to class. No busing will be provided.

An interested person can also apply in person at the Reinke facility at 1040 Road 5300 in Deshler, Nebraska. Our Human Resource department will contact you once the job application has been received to discuss opportunities. You do not have to work at Reinke in order to participate in the class above.
In order to make the class cost effective we need to have a certain number of students participate so sign up soon.
