Carter Haverluck earned his 100th career win on Friday, January 24 at the Thayer Central
Wrestling Invite. Carter became the 9th wrestler at Meridian to reach the
milestone of 100 career wins. Carter’s 100th career win came against the #7 Class
D rated wrestler Carter Horner from Loomis. Carter also capped off the great day
of wrestling with a win in the 126 pound championship against the #6 Class C
rated wrestler Holden McDonald from Superior. This was the fifth time that Carter
has wrestled McDonald this season. McDonald winning the prior four meetings
this season. This was a finishing touch on a great day of wrestling by Carter.
