Congratulations s to Cylas Welch, Darrien Howe, Kylee VanWesten, and Abagale Kerwood on a wonderful concert last Thursday September 25th at the Doane Froshmore Honor Choir in Crete! They spent the day in rehearsals working on the music to prepare for the evening concert directed by Doane Choir Director, Kurt Runestad.
They performed 4 choral songs: Throw Open Your Shutters, The Little Creek, Somlandela, and Shosholoza. Somlandela and Shosholoza are foreign language pieces based upon different languages in South Africa. The Doane Choir joined them on their final piece bringing the musical night to a close.
